Great Odin’s Raven! The man, the myth, the legendary Ron Burgundy now has his own whisky. As part of a product push that is piggybacking on December’s highly anticipated release of ‘Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues,’ Riviera Imports brings us the ‘Great Odin’s Raven Special Reserve.’
The bottle’s label features a tartan background and a raven crest with a crown and banner that reads Burgundy’s famous “Scotchy Scotch Scotch” line from the original film.
Comprised of a blend of grain and malt Scotch whiskies from Speyside, Highlands and Islay, the Great Odin’s Raven Special Reserve is said to have rich fruity flavor with a long finish. It is bottled at 40% ABV – price and availability has yet to be announced.
Although Ron’s more likely to have his three fingers of Glenlivet, there’s not doubt that several fan boys and gals are going to be soaking this blended Scotch up like it’s the hottest thing to hit the market since Sex Panther cologne – 60 percent of the time, Ron Burgundy Blended Scotch will get you drunk every time.
